There are three recognizable archeological Complexes for Paleo man in the Southwest. In the Llano Complex man used a beautifully worked fluted flint point called the Clovis point which was lanceolate, or leaf-shaped.The subsistence base was the mammoth which became extinct. The climate during this period was Anathermal, or cooler and wetter than the weather is today.

Dear Neil: What is wrong with this rose bush? I have sprayed the affected areas with a rose insecticide, but it hasn’t helped. It seems the problem is internal. The new growth of the stem is much larger than other stems and the leaves are deformed. The bush is probably about 15 years old.
