HORSEHEAD CROSSING CELEBRATION

The Pecos County Historical Commission hosted a two-day event at Horsehead Crossing. The event was first held in 2020 to commemorate the various historical figures who passed over this well-known crossing throughout the 16th-19th centuries. The celebration featured a chuckwagon breakfast, storytelling and live fire demonstrations by historical re-enactors. Brother and sister continue family tradition in healthcare

Body

Taylor and Andrew Franco are half siblings who come from a long line of nurses and healthcare workers.

And they are both following through with their family tradition at the Midland College Williams Regional Technical Training Center in Fort Stockton.

Taylor graduated in Aug. 2020 and is now currently taking classes in MC’s associate degree nursing program to train to become a registered nurse.
