A Day of the Dead ceremony was celebrated at the Original Mexican Restaurant in Fort Stockton on Nov. 1-2. Pictured is an altar that has photos of loved ones who have passed away. Many people showed up to show their love and respect for friends and family that have passed away.

Ahead of the Halloween holiday, the First United Methodist Church held a community-wide Pumpkin Party in Fort Stockton on Oct. 30.

Up and down Main Street in Fort Stockton, businesses were getting into the Halloween spirit on Friday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. by handing out candy and other treats to families.
