EDITOR Earlier this month, a group of Urban and Regional Studies students from Texas A&M University visited Fort Stockton to tour the city and explore its unique characteristics as part of a redevelopment project. This visit was made possible through a partnership between Fort Stockton and AdventGX, a corporation specializing in community development.

It’s time once again to celebrate those who make our community a better place every day. The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce has announced that nominations for the 2024 Outstanding Citizen of the Year are officially open.
Elsa Ramos was presented with the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce 2023 Outstanding Citizen of the Year last February.

Early Voting Closing

Early voting for the general election closes tomorrow, Friday, November 1, with election day just around the corner, this upcoming Tuesday. Pecos County has had some early voter turnout for this election, however there are still quite a few remaining voters able to cast their ballot.
