Prowlers storm into softball season

The yellow ball season is officially here with games that count toward overall records. The “Blue Storm” is forming over Fort Stockton and headed to all areas of West Texas. Prowler Softball started the season in Presidio last week with the Varsity defeating the Blue Devils, 7-3. Aryanna Gonzalez pitched five innings struck out four and only surrendered two hits and no runs. Freshmen Gabby Madrid came in and finished the game in the circle.

Panthers wrap up season with wins at Pecos

The Fort Stockton Panthers basketball teams ended their season on a strong note last week in Pecos, downing the host Eagles 77-50 to finish the season 5-22 overall and 3-7 in District 3-4A. Pecos ended the season 3-23, 0-10.
