Middle School Panther Baseball Ends Season Undefeated

The Fort Stockton Middle School Panthers wrapped up their season in style with a dominant 11-4 victory over the Van Horn Eagles last Thursday. Led by a no-hitter performance from pitcher Gilbert Hinostroza and a strong offensive showing, the Panthers capped off an undefeated season. Coach Luis Dominguez praised the team’s relentless effort and noted the bright future ahead for these young players.

Sports summer camps to be held locally

A series of summer camps for Fort Stockton sports are scheduled to be held this summer beginning May 21 and concluding July 31. All camps are $40 each except swimming and strength and conditioning, which are $90 and $45 respectively.

Prowlers Battle Hard in Bi-District Playoffs

The Fort Stockton Prowlers Softball Team put up a valiant fight in their recent Bi-District ‘Best of Three Series’ against the Canyon West Plains Wolves. The series, held April 25 and 26 at Seminole Softball Field, saw the Prowlers face tough competition and ultimately conclude their season.

Panther Travel Basketball Team remains Undefeated

Coach Colby Terrazas’s 5/6 grade Panther Travel Basketball Team came in undefeated in the Concho Valley Tournament in Ozona April 13 and came back to Fort Stockton with the Gold! The boys will compete in the Cinco de Mayo Shoot Out in Big Spring on May 5.

Fort Stockton Rec League kicks off exciting season

Fort Stockton’s young baseball and softball stars are back in action. The Recreation Department launched an impressive season these last two weeks, boasting 39 teams across eight divisions. With 460 players, 39 head coaches, and 120 coaches, all volunteers, community support is fueling this thrilling season.

Blue Wave create Record-Shattering ripples at Jr. Comanche Invitational

The Fort Stockton Natatorium was electric with excitement as the Middle School Blue Wave hosted the Jr. Comanche Swimming Invitational on April 19. The season-ending meet was a celebration of dedication and hardfought victories. The girls’ team splashed to a dominant first place overall finish, while the boys’ team secured a well-deserved second-place.
