Prowlers clinch playoff spot, fall short in season finale

The Fort Stockton High School Varsity Prowlers secured a playoff berth in dominant fashion but stumbled in their final regular-season game. Prowlers Clinch Early, Pummel Opponent on April 9 On a chilly Tuesday night in Wigwam Stadium, the Prowlers wasted no time showcasing their offensive prowess.

The Fort Stockton Middle School Blue Wave swim team competed at a very competitive 6A to 4A Championship swim meet with over 250 athletes in Andrews, where the team came in 10th overall out of 16 teams. This amazing group fought hard and had some amazing results.

Middle school tennis brings home some metals

On Saturday the Fort Stockton middle school tennis Team competed in the District Tournament. Teams included Fort Stockton, Andrews, Greenwood, Pecos, Seminole, and Monahans. Conditions for the meet were tough with 50mph winds and tough competition. The 7th grade Mixed Doubles Team earned the title of District Champions. “My first year with these athletes couldn’t have been more rewarding. I am honored to have watched them grow on and off the court, and thankful that I get to be a part of their athletic journeys.” Said Coach Cody Aaron Seventh grade results: 4th Place Overall, Mixed Doubles 1st Place District Champions: Angel Marquez/ Raquelle Jimenez. Prowlers take Pecos and Alpine to the mat

The Prowlers Softball Team returned to the field after the Easter break hosting Pecos on Friday. They would not waste any time continuing their winning ways as they would plate runs in every inning on their way to a 14-2 fifth-inning run rule.

Middle School tennis competes in District tournament

On Saturday, April 6, the Fort Stockton Middle School tennis team competed at the District tournament, with the seventh graders earning a fourth place overall and the eighth graders earning a third place overall. The teams competed against Andrews, Greenwood, Pecos, Seminole, and Monahans.
