Water District Infrastructure Project Funded

Pecos County Water Control and Improvement District #1 held a special meeting on May 19, 2026 and is proud to announce that they have completed the process to receive funding from the USDA for major improvements in their infrastructure.

Fort Stockton City Council Approves Major Infrastructure Projects

The Fort Stockton City Council pushed forward several downtown revitalization efforts and approved significant infrastructure expenditures during its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 26. City Manager Frank Rodriguez opened the session with a progress report on the city's 'quality of life' vision, noting that approximately 80% of the public safety building has been repurposed and remodeled.

ThecommunityofFortStockton gathered at Zero Stone Park on Monday to observe a solemn Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony, honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States. Under the shade of the park’s trees, the event served as both a history lesson and a heartfelt tribute to the heroic dead who secured the nation’s liberties.
