Holiday auction benefits students

The Xi Zeta Lambda sorority held its annual holiday auction on Nov. 17 at the Fort Stockton Community Theater building. The annual auction brought in dozens of individuals who bid on holiday-themed items. All money raised in the auction goes towards a scholarship for Fort Stockton High School graduates.

The 48th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair took place on Nov. 19 at the Pecos County Civic Center. Vendors provided a variety of gifts and goods that were available just in time for the holidays. Items available ranged from art, food, clothes, jewelry, and decorations.

Nov. 17
The Xi Zeta Lambda Sorority Auction will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the FMH building next to Fort Stockton Community Theatre. The merriment begins at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude at 9 p.m. Art, Baked Goods, and Holiday Décor will be available. Proceeds will benefit local scholarships.

Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Glitz 2022

The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Glitz was Nov. 10 at the Pecos County Civic Center, with a fashion show featuring apparel, hair and makeup from local shops and salons. Models showed off the latest apparel and hair styles from Studio #1, Walmart, Pecos County Feed and Supply, Red Shearz Hair Salon, Glitzy Trendz, Sisters Beauty Salon, Nolan’s, Burke’s Outlet, Bella Terazza, Tractor Supply, Armor of God Graphics and Martha’s Boutique.
