The following earned awards at the event: Megan Hanson, junior showmanship winner in cattle; Madison Hanson, first place Heifer and reserved overall champion; Carla Vazquez, reserved champion WOPB and BLOPB junior swine showmanship champion; Rylee McDaniel, reserve champion Duroc pig and senior swine showmanship champion; Mesa McDaniel, reserve champion Hampshire plus several top showing earning some money doing it. Fort Stockton junior Alyana Dominguez had her highest offensive output of the season on Saturday, Dec. 12 in an away contest at Del Rio, scoring over half of her team’s points (22) in the Prowlers 42-33 victory.

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced the students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2020 fall semester on Thursday, Dec. 10. To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
