Body Pioneer Athlete of the Week Fabian Perez hasn’t just won nine of the 10 long distance races he’s competed in this season for the Panthers track team. The junior is a clear cut above the competition in 4A District 2.

Fort Stockton ISD staff provided compensation for spike in gas prices

Body In an effort to compensate their employees for the recent spike in gas prices and keep the Fort Stockton Independent School District campuses clean, the FSISD school board School approved a one-time stipend to teachers at their regular meeting on March 28.

Prices for regular gas in Fort Stockton were at an average of $4.09 per gallon on March 29 according to the Texas Gas Prices website. The amount is 24 cents higher than the Texas average and 14 cents less than the average in the United States. County clean-up dates set

Body In conjunction with the city of Fort Stockton, the Pecos County Commissioners Court set the dates for the county clean-up for April 11 through April 29. The first week will aid the city in their spring bulky pick-up.
