Lucio Z. Espinoza entered rest on Dec. 13, 2020. He was born on March 25, 1949, to Carmen and Maria Espinoza.

Lucio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Dad, you were a very humble person but had a heart of gold. You taught your children to be respectful, helpful, honorable, and to love one another. You were very kindhearted and always willing to help the next person. You worked hard all your life to make sure that we were never without. There are no words to say how thankful we are of all you taught us and the love you left in us. You loved family and to sit round and listen to music. Music was your passion. You would say it would bring comfort and happiness. You were a loving husband and father. We will forever love you.

Lucio is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Maria Espinoza; his sisters, Virginia Espinoza, Leonor Zuniga; his grandson, Ivan Hinostroza.

Lucio is survived by his wife Lidia Espinoza; his sons, Lucio Espinoza Jr. and wife Nereyda of Fort Stockton, Abel Espinoza and wife Mariel of Fort Stockton; his daughters, Mireya Holguin and husband Jesus of Odessa, Bilma Bustamante of Odessa, Sensy Espinoza and husband Jerald of Fort Stockton, Martina Nieto and husband Javier of Fort Stockton; his brother, Reyes Espinoza; his sisters, Esperanza (Pacha) Epinoza, Maria del Carmen Hernandez, Carlotta Leyva, Luciana Porras, Manuela Montoya; his grandchildren, Marimar, Alexia, Anahi, Santiago, Nayeli, Bertha (Socorrito), Geneva, Damien, Sebastian, Camila, Nayesha, Osbiel, Xiomara, Ezme, Estrella, Jovany, Milagros; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaiah, Ivanna.

The visitation will be held Dec. 15, 2020, at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will be Dec. 16, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Campus. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
