Pecos County 4H and FFA members went to the Livestock Jackpot in Fort Davis and had a successful showing at the competition. The following earned awards at the event: Megan Hanson, junior showmanship winner in cattle; Madison Hanson, first place Heifer and reserved overall champion; Carla Vazquez, reserved champion WOPB and BLOPB junior swine showmanship champion; Rylee McDaniel, reserve champion Duroc pig and senior swine showmanship champion; Mesa McDaniel, reserve champion Hampshire plus several top showing earning some money doing it.
