New Coyanosa Community Center nearing completion

Body The new $1.2 million Coyanosa Community Center will soon be open to public this upcoming year. Pecos County Judge Joe Shuster said at Monday’s commissioners meeting that the fa cility will likely be complete by the end of January and a grand opening will soon follow.

CDC changes quarantine guidelines

Body Changes in quarantine time after testing positive for COVID-19 in Pecos County could soon be shorter. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Monday that their guidelines for quarantine time changed from 10 days to five days due to the nature of Omicron variant.

Body Steve Oliver rolled into Fort Stockton looking as cool as a cucumber. Exiting his bright red Mercedes Sprinter wearing a cowboy hat and scarf, he said, “We’re headed out to Wolf Creek in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.”
