FSMS boys relay team ranked fifth in the nation

The Fort Stockton Middle School boys’ track teams wrapped up their season with another solid showing at the district meet. Highlights include a first-place finish by Nikolas Sotelo in the high jump with a season-best jump of 5’ 8”, and a first-place finish by the 4x400m relay team consisting of Jeremiah Gonzalez, Andrian Rivera, Michael “Bubba” Patino, and Nikolas Sotelo. Their time of 3:45.98 tied a nearly forty-yearold school record and ranks fifth in the nation and second in the state among teams reporting to Athletic. net.

Middle School swimmers set records in Monahans

The FSMS Blue Wave swim team competed at the Monahans Invitational Friday, March 22, where a remarkable five school records were broken. The boys couldn’t let the girls have all the fun breaking records. The 200 Freestyle Relay of Grayson Foster, Camiren Sexton, Haizen Gregory, and Mason May broke the long-standing record by two seconds that was set in 2016 with a time of 2:21.41.

Newcomer makes a splash

Camiren Sexton wasn’t feeling just one thing leading up to the 6A to 4A Championship swim meet - he was a whirlwind of emotions. Determination fueled by months of grueling training swirled alongside nervous anticipation and laser focus.

Panthers win Pecos Tournament

The Panther and Prowler golf teams made an impressive showing at the Pecos Invitational. A total of 18 Panther and Prowler kids participated in the golf tournament, proudly representing our community on the course.
