COVID-19 active cases stay low

Two weeks after Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order went into effect, COVID-19 active cases continue to stay low in Pecos County.

Pecos County had six active cases on March 10 – the day the order started – and number has went no higher than eight since that time.

On March 23 it was reported that there are five current active cases in the county and five pending tests. As of March 19, there was one Pecos County resident hospitalized outside of the county.
