Body Racing enthusiasts will get their fix once again in Pecos County come this fall. For the first time in 13 years, there will be a second open road race in a calendar year that takes place between Fort Stockton and Sanderson.

Body The Borderlands Research Institute at Sul Ross State University and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are partnering to provide technical and financial assistance to landowners interested in restoring and enhancing wildlife habitat on their land.

Body The Leadership Fort Stockton program held their annual graduation ceremony on June 25 on a ranch currently ran by Arna McCorkle and her husband, located 11 miles south on of Fort Stockton on Sanderson Highway.

Body The Pecos County Senior Center will host its annual Independence Day hot dog lunch and patriotic sing-along on Friday, July 2, at noon at the Senior Center. Hot dogs and cold tea will be provided to all attendees, followed by patriotic songs.
