Mayor Paul Casias opened Tuesday’s Fort Stockton City Council meeting, declaring a quorum and reaffirming the city’s commitment to public trust, safety, and economic development.

According to local officials, two dead and three were injured after a train derailment in Reeves County Pecos on Wednesday evening of December 18. The incident occurred around 5 p.m.
