What’s going on?

Body
Today there are so many bad things going on in the world, it is scary. Everyday there are wars and more rumors of more war and everybody building more and more destructive arms. Bigger battleships, bigger bombers, more powerful missiles, why not grow food and seek peace? What does the Bible say is going to happen? Jesus taught about signs of the end times, it was not going to get better but worse, (Matthew 24:3, :21). It also teaches there will be one final big monster battle between evil forces and good forces. The evil forces will be the devil, the antiChrist, the false prophet, the fallen angels and all evil forces. The good forces will be Jesus Christ, His angels and His Bride, The Church, all who have repented of their sins and called upon Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior (Ephesians 2:8&9, John 1:12, Titus 2:13). Jesus Christ wins the battle and is declared the victor once and for all. There will be no more battles. The antiChrist and false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire and the Devil bound for a thousand years and eventually judged and cast into the lake of fire, (Revelation 20:2&3). If we have never accepted Jesus Christ we are not on the winning team. It is not too late to make Him your Lord and Savior, (John 1:12&13).

Operation Backpack continues to serve students

Body
Formerly known as Christina’s Operation Backpack, headed by Christina Pacheco, this event began in 2012, and its impetus was due to four children who were living with their grandmother at the time and needed school supplies for the upcoming school year. Since then, locals Tatiana and Isai Rojas have been an integral part of this operation as it has continued to grow not only in popularity but also in necessity.
