The Fort Stockton Middle School Prowler Basketball teams concluded their season in thrilling fashion, with the 8th Grade Blue Team cementing their legacy as one of the school’s best with a perfect 13-0 record. Led by Coach Humberto Renteria, the Prowlers showcased resilience, skill, and unity, bringing the community along for a remarkable journey.

The Fort Stockton High School Golf Teams made a major statement this past weekend at the Pecos Invitational, held Friday and Saturday. Both the Panthers and Prowlers showed up ready to compete— and they delivered, each bringing home firstplace team finishes.

The Fort Stockton Panther Tennis team braved freezing temperatures and tough competition at the RCHS Winter Invitational in Big Lake last week, showcasing their resilience and skill on the courts. The Panthers competed in both the junior varsity and varsity divisions across two days, with multiple athletes earning top finishes.

Fort Stockton FFA participants made their presence felt at the Pecos County Livestock Show, kicking off their season with a strong performance that showcased the hard work and dedication of these young competitors. With standout achievements across multiple divisions, the team celebrated impressive results, especially for students new to the competitive arena.

The Fort Stockton High School powerlifting teams continue to show their strength and determination, earning top placements at recent meets and securing numerous regional qualifications. The Panthers and Prowlers competed in Andrews on January 25 and in Greenwood on February 15, demonstrating impressive progress and resilience.

Parents, student-athletes, coaches, and community leaders gathered in the Fort Stockton High School commons area on Monday, May 12, to meet DJ Howell, the newly appointed Athletic Director for Fort Stockton ISD.

In a district filled with powerhouse programs — including a state finalist, a state quarterfinalist, and a regional semifinalist — the Fort Stockton Prowlers proved they could hold their own. The Fort Stockton Special Olympics basketball team made a triumphant showing at the Area 18 Basketball Tournament in Midland, securing two victories in a best-of-three series while being supported by local law enforcement. The tournament, which featured a unified team from Midland to provide greater competition, saw Fort Stockton rise to the challenge and showcase their skill, determination, and teamwork.

The Fort Stockton High School Panthers and Prowlers track teams kicked off their season with an electrifying performance at the 81st annual Comanche Relays on February 22. The historic meet, rich in tradition, brought together some of the region’s top athletes, with Fort Stockton athletes rising to the challenge on their home turf.

The Fort Stockton Blue Wave Swim Team wrapped up their season with an impressive performance at the Region 1-4A Swim Meet in Andrews this past weekend. With preliminaries on Friday and finals on Saturday, the team delivered standout performances, setting personal records and dropping times across multiple events.
