The Fort Stockton High School powerlifting teams continue to show their strength and determination, earning top placements at recent meets and securing numerous regional qualifications. The Panthers and Prowlers competed in Andrews on January 25 and in Greenwood on February 15, demonstrating impressive progress and resilience.

According to a media report from Melissa Posada, the JV White Prowler Basketball team delivered a commanding performance during the opening day of the Sanderson Tournament. Posada notes that the team secured two significant victories by demonstrating excellent teamwork, effort, and execution on both ends of the floor.

Earlier this month, Fort Stockton’s Winter Basketball season tipped off tonight with the youngest athletes stealing the spotlight! Pre-K squads — the Rockets, Lakers, Slipe “N” Slide, and Net Ninjas — brought big energy, bigger smiles, and some unforgettable first baskets at the Recreation Center Gym.

It was 90 minutes of heart and effort every game for the Sul Ross State University women’s soccer team. The Lobos had six Top 10 LSC rankings, three leaders and five additions to the record book with a school record.
