The Grey Mule Saloon will soon be undergoing major renovations during its guaranteed closure over the next 60 days to preserve the historical property. The Fort Stockton City Council approved a $138,600 renovation to the exterior and interior of building at the group’s special meeting on Feb.

Roberson bests former team in rematch: Panthers maintain postseason chances

Fort Stockton first-year head coach Zack Roberson categorized Tuesday’s home bout against his former Pecos Eagles as a “must-win.”

After the first quarter of play, the Panthers played liked it and kept their playoff hopes alive in a convincing come-from-behind victory to cap the team’s heated rivalry.

The Panthers trailed 18-10 after the first quarter and from that point forward, Fort Stockton outscored the Eagles 61-41 in route to a 71-59 win.
