After the first quarter of play, the Panthers played liked it and kept their playoff hopes alive in a convincing come-from-behind victory to cap the team’s heated rivalry.
The Panthers trailed 18-10 after the first quarter and from that point forward, Fort Stockton outscored the Eagles 61-41 in route to a 71-59 win.
Without a playoff spot on the line, Fort Stockton senior Alyana Dominguez entered the last game of her career on Tuesday against Pecos as she had every contest this season.
Playing the game like it’s her last. The moment finally arrived for the returning first-team all-district selection from a season ago.
