The Keep Historic Fort Stockton Beautiful Board (KFSB) is now assembling with the Historical Landmark Commission for their regular meetings. Their first joint meeting was held on Feb. 2.

The KHFSB meeting began with the swearing in of Harry Gandhi and Brenda Delao as board members.

The meeting held an orientation; overviewing projects such as the Trash Off event, KHFSB Art Contest, Rio Street project and more.

The board approved current financial information, purchase of KHFSB merchandise, and the 2022 renewal of its Keep Texas Beautiful membership.

Following the KHFSB meeting, the Historical Landmark Commission also began by conducting their orientation and training.

The commission appointed Ross Harper as their Chairman and Dulcia Warren as their Vice-Chairman.

With new leadership in place, the Commission went into the minutiae of identifying and registering local historic landmarks and further discussed the development of maps and an updated official list.

With the two groups meeting shoulder to shoulder, beautification can now move forward for both the historic elements and future endeavors of Fort Stockton.
