A shooting at a residence inside of Fort Stockton city limits led to the arrest of two individuals on March 15. No injuries were reported in the incident that happened at 4:59 a.m.

Convention center receives facelift
The Fort Stockton Convention Center, located at 2181 SW Interstate 10, now has a new sign after Fort Stockton native Juan Antonio Vasquez built and installed the sign with a large lift last weekend.

Comanche Springs Rodeo to feature pair of bands
This year’s Comanche Springs Rodeo will have a welcome addition to the annual event. Following the rodeo on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26, the Pecos County Civic Center will host dances that feature two bands – Honky Tonkers and 12 Mile.
City clean-up days set for April 4-14
Fort Stockton residents will soon be able to get rid unwanted bulky items and trash for free of charge via the annual spring clean-up in the city.
