Dear Neil, My pomelo citrus is struggling. It’s going on its third year. Its growth is very slow, and the leaves have turned from dark green to a very light green color. I fertilize it every four to six months. I use a spike to make 6-in. holes evenly spaced around the plant, then I use the recommended amount of food. I try to water it properly, but I’m careful not to overwater it. I also have a lemon, kumquat, and lime tree, and they’re all doing fine without troubles. What can I do?

The Fort Stockton High School swimming and diving teams turned in a strong postseason showing on January 22 at the District 2-4A Swimming & Diving Championships, earning multiple bronze medals and securing several automatic qualifiers for the upcoming regional meet.

The Fort Stockton Prowlers delivered a statement win Thursday night, closing out an unforgettable finish to edge the Midland Greenwood Rangers 50–48 in front of a roaring home crowd that refused to sit down until the final horn sounded.

Cold weather can make you do crazy things. Things like learning to ski, go snowboarding, or cook. I have never done the first two, but this weekend when I was trying to stay warm, I decided to try the third. I was very pleased with the outcome, and I didn’t break any bones! I really suspect that I would break something if I tried those first two activities.

Is there a good word for the people of God in 2026, the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and its adoption by a congress in rebellion at the year’s midpoint? I pray there might be in the turning of hearts and minds toward the once and future faith founded on the vision of an empty tomb, the realization of which is not fixed by a failure of imagination, but to be opened by that good word: imagine—just imagine. Adam, just imagine the redemption your children will know as they find dignity and meaning in the work they do instead of the curse of vain labor. Abraham, just imagine the blessing all of your descendants will be as they bring together their tribes for the common good instead of urging retribution for imagined insults and “disrespections” one to the other? Israel, don’t lay a trap for the brother bearing down on you, imagine he comes in reconciliation. Christians, remember the indiscriminate love and sacrificial service you manifested among the non-believers and imagine preaching brotherhood instead of hatred of the other?
