Sharon Morgan, a beloved member of the Fort Stockton community and cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully on September 21, at the age of 77. Born on January 21, 1947, Sharon’s life was a testament to kindness, faith, and love as she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Milton R. Williamson

Milton R. Williamson, 79, passed away on Monday, August 26, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Milton was born on September 27, 1944, in Big Spring, Texas, to Gordon and Myrtle Williamson. He was the landscape foreman at Geo Prison Systems of Texas for 23.5 years. Milton was a very Patriotic American; he led several groups of Vets to tour Washington DC. He loved meeting other veterans and building friendships. He always had a smile and something funny to say to brighten anyone’s day. He was very loved and will be very missed. During retirement he enjoyed working on small engines.

On Saturday, September 28, the Fort Stockton Rotary Club will once again host their annual Cruise Party. The event, held every year, raises the necessary funds for many local community projects while providing excellent food, drinks, and music to attendees, as well as a chance to win a cruise trip worth $3500.
