Family Meal Time week

The last week in September is Family Meal Time. Plan now to enjoy a meal together as a family. Family meals together provides communication and discussion. Families can build memories by sharing meals together. Multiple studies show that homecooked meals nourish the spirit, brain, and health of all family members. Preparing healthy and safe meals at home is made easy with new resources from the non-profit Partnership for Food Safety Education and the Food Marketing Institute Foundation.

He was like Comanche Springs in the sense that he was forever establishing a variety of businesses to help grow the economy of Fort Stockton staring in 1909. Pecos County Toastmasters met on Aug. 27 at noon at the Fort Stockton Public Library. Top: Lilly Gonzalez was presented the Best Speaker Award by Alicia Salinas. Left: Daniel Salamanca took both the Best Table Topics and Best Evaluator Awards. Congratulations to both! “Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Midland College, WRTTC students to help put on historical event

Students enrolled in business courses at the Midland College Williams Regional Technical Training Center (WRTTC) will be joining forces with the Goodnight-Loving Trail, Inc. and the Pecos County Historical Commission to help coordinate the annual Horse Head Crossing Celebration of History event on Nov. 5-6.
