How many of you know Ellis Washington Bennett or what he did in the development of Fort Stockton? He was like Comanche Springs in the sense that he was forever establishing a variety of businesses to help grow the economy of Fort Stockton staring in 1909.
City to lease new compactor

‘Nunsense’ opens tomorrow
“Nunsense,” a musical, will open Friday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. at Fort Stockton Community Theatre’s Nelson Street Theatre. The musical was written by Dan Goggin, and Penny Smith is directing this reprise. Edward Jones and First National Bank are cosponsoring the production.
