Fort Stockton Public Library to receive new computers

Through an anonymous donation of $25,000, the Fort Stockton Public Library is set to purchase new computers. “That is a very generous contribution to the library,” said Pecos County Judge Joe Shuster.

Murder case to go to grand jury

A murder charge against Fort Stockton teen Andrew Pacheco, 18, in the death of Edward Ramirez will go a grand jury in October in Pecos County according to 83rd District Attorney Ori White. White confirmed that the autopsy of Ramirez was completed in the last few weeks and a 12-person grand jury will decide whether to issue a True Bill or No Bill.
