For millions of Americans, Fourth of July means grilling. While you are celebrating our nation’s independence, you can plan what you want for your outdoor grilling. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has some suggestions for the best foods for grilling and keeping your outdoor celebration healthy.

The author of Hebrews tells us, “10:23 Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”

Dear Neil: What would cause small holes in all of my peach fruit? A clear fluid forms beneath each hole, then congeals into a clear mass. When I slice into the fruit, it appears to be fairly localized. What can I do to stop it?

Racing enthusiasts will get their fix once again in Pecos County come this fall. For the first time in 13 years, there will be a second open road race in a calendar year that takes place between Fort Stockton and Sanderson.

After five breakdowns on their 1997 RV, George and Patricia of Florida pulled into Fort Stockton with big smiles and an abundance of roadside stories. “Originally we’re both Oregonians,” said George from the driver side of a minivan.
