The Fort Stockton Panther Tennis Team wrapped up their fall season in style, celebrating an incredible journey that culminated in winning the Area Championship. Under the guidance of Coach Victor Garcia and Cody Aaron, the team demonstrated grit and determination throughout the playoffs, culminating in a thrilling victory over Lubbock Cooper-Liberty on October 11.

Blue Wave Swim Team Makes a Splash at Lubbock Invitational

The Fort Stockton High School Blue Wave Swim Team made a strong statement at the Lubbock Small Team/JV Invitational on October 10. Competing against tough teams from across the region, the Blue Wave swimmers showed their determination, achieving significant time drops and earning top finishes in multiple events. Led by head coach Lily Morales Forst, the team’s hard work is already paying off in this early stage of the season.

The Fort Stockton High School Prowler Volleyball teams faced two challenging district matches this past week, first hosting the Andrews Lady Mustangs in a thrilling “Pink Out” game on Tuesday, October 8, before traveling to Midland to take on the Greenwood Rangers on Saturday, October 12. Despite their resilience and hard-fought performances, the Prowlers fell short in both contests, bringing their district record to 3-2 as they prepare for their upcoming matchup against Monahans.

This latest triumph adds another gold ball to the Panthers’ growing collection, keeping the coveted prize at home and setting the stage for a deep postseason run. The match, held on Monday, October 7, saw the Panthers roar to a 6-1 lead after the doubles matches, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and precision.
With the Bi-District Championship under their belts, the Panthers shift their focus to the Area round, where they will face Lubbock Cooper-Liberty on Friday, October 13, at Midland High.
