On Tuesday, September 10th, the Fort Stockton High School Prowler Volleyball program hosted Buena Vista and Compass Academy in a series of exciting matchups.

Kasch Norman, the current quarterback of the Fort Stockton Panthers, has quickly become a force to be reckoned with on the football field. Despite starting his football journey later than many of his peers, Norman has embraced his role as the leader of the team, embodying the Panthers' mantra: 'Team Never Quit.' A junior in the Class of 2026, Norman plays as both quarterback and linebacker for the varsity team, wearing #15 with pride.

Our high school cross country team faced a demanding test this past weekend at a large and competitive meet. Despite a timing issue that prevented us from having individual results, our runners displayed impressive grit and determination on a course that was both challenging and exhila- rating.

Get ready, Fort Stockton! The highly anticipated Fall Sports League is set to begin this Saturday, bringing a new wave of excitement to our local fields and courts. With the first games starting as early as 9 a.m., this season promises to be packed with action and community spirit.

The Fort Stockton Middle School Panthers football teams kicked off their season on September 5, facing Pecos and Alpine in their first games of the year. The teams showed promising talent and determination as they opened the season with two victories and two close losses.

The Fort Stockton Panther Tennis Team faced a challenging week as they competed against some of the region’s toughest opponents. Head Coach Victor Garcia’s team showed determination and grit in both their away matches, but unfortunately, they fell short of securing victories.

The Fort Stockton Panthers are riding high after their 44-18 victory over the Alpine Bucks last Friday in Alpine, TX. Now standing at 2-0 on the season, the Panthers are looking forward to their annual Homecoming game this Friday, September 13, at Panther Stadium, where they’ll face their longtime rivals, the Pecos Eagles.
