Fall 5K season starts now for beginning runners

If you’ve seen more joggers on the streets lately, they may be training for Fort Davis’ Coolest 5K in Texas, held July 4th weekend. For anyone who has thought about running a 5K but has not made it past the couch, the distance may be more approachable than it seems.

Prowlers Open Summer League Strong

Fort Stockton’s volleyball program got its summer schedule off to a solid start as the Prowlers completed the first week of Summer League competition against teams from across the region. A total of 11 teams participated in the opening week, giving Fort Stockton’s freshman, junior varsity, and varsity squads an opportunity to gain valuable court time as preparations continue for the upcoming fall season.

Fort Stockton volleyball continued its strong summer development this week with both the varsity and junior varsity squads turning in impressive performances at the annual Monahans Summer Tournament. The Prowlers faced quality competition throughout the day, giving coaches an early look at the progress made during offseason workouts and summer activities.
Fort Stockton’s JV squad completed a perfect 6-0 day to capture the tournament championship, finishing undefeated and showcasing the depth developing within the program.

Prowler Softball Camp Showcases Future of Program

The next generation of Prowler softball players spent the week learning fundamentals, building confidence, and developing a love for the game during the annual Prowler Softball Camp. Campers worked on fielding mechanics, hitting fundamentals, and overall softball skills while also learning the importance of teamwork and communication.
