February 1960: INSPECTION – Members of the Fort Stockton Jaycees inspected facilities at the Fort Stockton High School FFA barn following a recent luncheon meeting. Four chapter members show off some of their prize sheep as the Jaycees look on. Among the sheep was the champion of the recent stock show.

February 1958: MOTHER’S MARCH – From left are Mrs. Lillian Reeves, Mrs. Garnett McCallister, treasurer of the Pecos County March of Dimes campaign, and Mrs. Ruth Lewis. They’re counting the proceeds of the Fort Stockton Mother’s March on polio, which netted $960 for the drive. The march was sponsored by Omicron Mu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Mrs. McCallister is also president of the sorority chapter.

December 1969: TO AREA TRYOUTS – Sharon Goode, left, and Debbie Hartman earned a trip to the All-Region High School Band tryouts with their performance in the District 2-AAA tryouts in Odessa. Miss Goode was first chair bass clarinet and Miss Hartman was third chair French horn in the district. The Fort Stockton band earned 25 seats on the All-District Band.
