Wash your hands with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds before, during, and after preparing food and before eating. Separate raw meats from ready-to-eat foods like vegetables when preparing, serving, or storing foods. Make sure food is cooked to a safe internal temperature.

“Boomtown” debuts this Saturday at FSCT

Fort Stockton Community Theatre reminds theater goers that “Boomtown,” a musical comedy performed by Texas Comedies, will have two performances on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2:00 p.m.

Pecos County Livestock Show winners announced

Winners of the Pecos County Stock Show were revealed this past week and James Tinkler with the Buena Vista FFA came away as the most decorated participant. Tinkler was the lone two-time grand champion at the annual event held at the Pecos County Coliseum.
