Buena Vista, Iraan advance to One Act Play area competition

Pecos County was well represented at the 9A and 10A Bi-District One Act Play Competition at Rankin High School on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Troupes from Rankin, Buena Vista, Iraan, Marfa, Fort Davis, and Valentine performed a range of theatrical offerings for a three-judge panel.

KARAN’S KORNER National Caffeine Awareness Month is observed to help individuals increase their awareness of how much caffeine they are consuming each day and identify ways to reduce their intake. Caffeine is a bitter tasting compound that is found naturally in various plants and acts as a stimulant of the central nervous system.
Esports participants thriving at FSISD

Fort Stockton ISD middle school and high school students have found great deal of success in the first year of esports existence within the district. Fernando Corrales went undefeated in his first three esports chess matches and is now ranked in the top 20 chess players in program statewide via a 3-1 record.
