Body Olivia Sanchez Jasso, 81, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Aug. 20, 2023, in Midland, Texas.  Olivia was born in Presidio, Texas to Juan and Maria Sanchez on Jan. 29, 1942.

Body Veda D. Walker, 77, of San Angelo, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Body Beatriz Cardenas Ponce, 85, who loved to be called “Miama” passed away peacefully in her home in Fort Stockton, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023. Beatriz was born in Colonia Esperanza, Chihuahua Mexico on Aug.

Body Saul G. Ortiz, 69, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Aug. 1, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.  Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N. Main Street in Fort Stockton. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.

Body Emma Ramirez Primera of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 88.

Body It is with great sadness that the family of Senaida Ureta González announce her death after a rapid battle with cancer, on June 27, 2023, in Kingsland, Texas. Known as “Nana” by most of her family, she was 88, and died peacefully with members of her family by her side.
