Fort Stockton Community Theatre is proud to present Dan Mazer, aka “BanjerDan” for an evening of downhome Bluegrass music on Tuesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30) at The Nelson Street Theatre, 102 South Nelson.

For years El Buen Vecino has struggled with leaky water pipes, no air conditioning, damaged windows and poor electrical connections. After holding a Rummage Sale to raise the necessary funds to make these much-needed repairs, they have now re-opened and will continue to serve the Fort Stockton community from their location at 408 S. Valentine Street.

The Comanche Springs Rodeo returns tonight and promises three action-packed nights of family fun. The action begins tonight at the Pecos County Coliseum with rodeo slack.

The Middle Pecos Groundwater Conservation District rejected a proposal by Belding Farms to consider changing district rules, which Belding Farms believes will protect the Edwards-Trinity Aquifer. Belding Farms, a pecan grower in Fort Stockton, expressed regret over the decision by the District, which Belding says will add protections for the Edwards-Trinity Aquifer that underlies Pecos County and feeds Comanche Springs.
