The Fort Stockton Recreation Department honored 11-year-old Mathew Natividad, of the Fort Stockton Recreational Majors Baseball Pirates, for his remarkable achievement in hitting the first home run of the season. The impressive three-run homer, estimated to have traveled at least 220 yards, sailed over the right field fence during the May 20 game against the Dodgers, leading the Pirates to a 4-3 victory.

In a remarkable achievement, Fort Stockton Independent School District has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Sportsmanship Award of District 3 4-A. This recognition, determined by a vote among superintendents and principals from Seminole, Andrews, Greenwood, Fort Stockton, Monahans, and Pecos, highlights the district’s unwavering commitment to character, integrity, and sportsmanship across all UIL and extracurricular activities.

Fort Stockton Athletics are hosting a Strength and Conditioning Camp (SAC Camp) for all Panther and Prowler student athletes grades 6-12. The camp will run Monday through Wednesday with Thursdays acting as an open weight room/gym.
