BRIEF: Annual Pink Out Game on Saturday, October 18

Head coach Gary Garcia said, “We are still looking for donations for our silent auction that will begin at 9:00 a.m. We will be recognizing cancer survivors, those who are currently battling, and honoring those who we have lost. This ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. If you or someone you know is interested in being recognized, please be at the SEC by 9:00 a.m. to sign in. Donations for the silent auction will need to be dropped off by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. If you cannot attend and would like to donate an item you may drop it off at FSHS in the front office during the week or contact me and I will go pick it up.

Panthers Fall to Seminole

After soaring to 42 points the game before, the Fort Stockton Panthers were limited in their district matchup against the Seminole Indians on Friday, October 10. The Panthers fell 59-7 in Seminole, dropping their overall record to 4-3.

Blue Wave Makes a Splash at Season Opener

The Fort Stockton High School Blue Wave Swim Team kicked off their 2025–2026 season with a strong showing at the UTPB Invitational, hosted by Odessa High on October 4. Facing off against a field of 4A through 6A schools, the Blue Wave held their own, finishing fifth overall out of ten teams with a combined score of 252 points.
On October 4, the girl’s Blue Wave 400-yard freestyle relay team of Dustee Dale, Carla Vazquez, Laeila Hernandez, and Alexis Rodriguez claimed fifth place. Aguilar Qualifies for Regionals

The Fort Stockton Panthers and Prowlers capped off their crosscountry season with strong performances at the Lubbock Invitational and District Meet in Andrews. Both events tested the team’s endurance and determination as they competed against some of the toughest runners in the region.

Prowler Volleyball Continues Strong Push in District Play

The Fort Stockton Prowler Volleyball program wrapped up their non-district slate on a high note in Presidio, where all three high school squads came away victorious. JV-White and JV-Blue swept their matches 2-0, while the Varsity earned a 3-1 win to close out tournament play and build momentum heading into district action.

Panthers Look to Bounce Back After Tough Test Against Liberty

The Fort Stockton Panthers faced one of their toughest opponents of the season Friday night as they welcomed the undefeated Lubbock Cooper Liberty Patriots to town. The matchup proved to be a difficult test for the varsity squad, who saw their three-game winning streak snapped in a 56-0 loss.
