Dorothy Richardson went to join the Lord and countless family and friends in Heaven on Jan. 12, 2022. She was born in Washington, Iowa, on April 3, 1935, the oldest of four, raised with her sister Janice and brothers Frank and Don.

Maria Carmelita Ramirez, 72, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away Jan. 8, 2022. Carmelita was born in Hale Center, Texas, to Alfredo Martinez, Sr., and Martha Baldera Martinez.

Juan Manuel “Johnny” Cordero, 71, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Jan. 12, 2022. Johnny was born to Jose Maria (Joe) Cordero, Jr. and Gregoria Ramos Cordero on Oct. 2, 1950. He attended school in Fort Stockton, Texas, and received his bachelor’s degree from Midland College.

Steven Jay McCollum passed away on Jan. 5, 2022 in San Angelo, Texas. Steve was born on Sept. 3, 1953, in San Angelo, to Gladys and Rufus McCollum. He grew up in San Angelo, attending and graduating from Central High School, then Angelo State University.

Ruben A. Montoya was reunited with his Heavenly Father on Jan. 9, 2022. Ruben was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Manuel Benavidez Chihuahua, Mexico, to Eleodoro and Alejandra Alarcon Montoya. He was raised and educated in Mexico before coming to Coyanosa, Texas.

Larry Eugene Elvick, 77, of Fort Stockton, Texas, took his eternal flight on Jan. 5, 2022, in Odessa, Texas. Viewing and visitation was held on Jan. 7, 2022, at Eternity Funeral Home in Fort Stockton.

Jose Sinez “Chevy” Franco, 86, passed away on Jan. 1, 2022. Joe was a life-long resident of Fort Stockton, Texas.  He was born on May 20, 1935, to Froilo and Elvira Franco.  Joe was known to all as “Chevy” or “Papa Joe.”

Maria Ann “MaryAnn” Alvarado was born Sept. 15, 1965, in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Felipe and Felipa Campos. She attended school in Fort Stockton. MaryAnn worked at the local nursing home and as a caretaker. MaryAnn loved to cook and sing for her family.

Claudette Kerr, 80, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away Dec. 11, 2021. She was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Rosiclare, Ill., to Elton and Pearl Kerr.
