Ramiro Baiza, age 84, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Saturday evening on October 11, in Cedar Park, Texas.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. followed by the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. to be officiated by Father Francis. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.

Ramiro was born in Aguita, Coahuila Mexico to Valentine and Julia Baiza on April 26, 1941. He married his beloved wife Corina Baiza on May 18, 1961, in Fort Stockton, Texas. He successfully worked as a pipeline foreman at Valero Corporation for 35 years instilling his hard work ethic to his children. He proudly received his Master License as an electrician at the age of 35. Ramiro never met a stranger and loved his family dearly. While in Fort Stockton, Ramiro was a proud parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ramiro enjoyed coffee with friends at McDonald’s fondly referring to his friends as the Ben Gay club. Ramiro was a family man and enjoyed every moment to soak in the sun.

Ramiro is survived by his children Randy (Lina) Baiza, Midland, Texas, Monica (Leo) Vasquez, San Antonio, Texas, Melinda, Leander, Texas, Ramiro Baiza Jr (Brenda), Rockwall, Texas, Abigail (Ricky) Pando, Round Rock, Texas. Also survived by his grandchildren Karina Valeriano, Matthew and Victoria Vasquez, Dawson and Talan Baiza, and Jake and Luke Pando.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s research in honor of Ramiro Baiza.
