Margarita Lopez Muniz entered into rest on Jan. 18, 2021. She was born on Jan. 23, 1932, to Francisco and Elpidia Lopez.

Margarita was a long-time homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her biggest joy. 

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Elpidia Lopez; her husband Felipe Muñiz; her brothers Manuel Lopez, Enrique Lopez, Rogelio Lopez, and Jesus Lopez; and her grandchild Bianca Anita Lopez.

Margarita is survived by her sons Jose Guadalupe Lopez and wife Alma of Del Rio, Texas, Felipe Muniz, Jr., and wife Amparo of Fort Stockton, Texas, Francisco Muñiz and wife Rosie of Fort Stockton; her daughters Maribel Terrazas and husband Jose of Fort Stockton, Celia Muniz of Fort Stockton, and Leticia Rodriguez of Fort Stockton; her brothers Jose Maria Lopez, Manuel Lopez, and Augustine Lopez; her sisters Julia Miramontez, Rebecca Bernal, Rosie Meraz, Juanita Garcia, and Barbarita Guzman; 16 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

The visitation was held on Jan. 21, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home. The service was held on Jan. 22, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Campus. Burial followed at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
