Korben Borsberry
Korben Borsberry, 18, beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Great-grandson, Nephew, and Uncle, was called to his eternal resting place on May 4.
He entered this world on July 19, 2006 in Bakersfield, CA, born to William and Lacey Borsberry. He is survived by his father William Borsberry; mother Lacey Borsberry; brothers Kaleb Misquez; Karlos Misquez; Kristian Borsberry; Kian Borsberry; sisters Kandas Borsberry and Katelynne Borsberry; grandmother Denise Misquez; grandfather Ismael Mike Misquez Jr; grandmother Rhonda Coble; uncles Matt Misquez; Seth Misquez; Chico Misquez; and Chris Dobbins; aunts Michelle Dobbins; Michelle Misquez; Kim Misquez; and Sheila Misquez; nephews Maddox Misquez; Zyran Cooley and Alexios Quimbly; great-grandmother Barbara Marstella; A memorial service was held on May 10, at Heritage funeral home of the Big Bend from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Notable interests, activities, hobbies, or passions: Korben was proud of being in the greatest country in the world; The United States and all the freedoms that came with this great country. He loved his family, friends, and was always happy to meet new people. He loved his guns, his video games and loved his job. He was so proud to buy his first car all by himself and looked forward to rebuilding it. He loved helping his dad with feeding the goats, cows, horses, and chickens.
He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help. And never let his mom go to the store alone. He loved to pick on his brothers and sisters but would fiercely defend them should anyone try to do the same.
Korben was adventurous, loved the outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family. He really loved his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Memorable moments and achievements: Korben graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 2024 and received his welder’s card while attending.
He worked for Pecos County Feed and Supply for two years as a barn hand loading feed for the local ranchers and enjoyed hearing their stories.
