Ricky Eugene Gaines, of Stockton, CA at 9:33 a.m., officers from the Department of Public Safety apprehended Gaines and he was charged with trafficking of persons less than 18-years-old. Gaines received a $30,000 bond and was released on Nov. 21.

Body

Irma Ortega Johnston reunited with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 17, 2021. Irma was born and raised in Fort Stockton, Texas, where she was educated. Irma moved to El Paso, Texas in 1968, she returned to Fort Stockton where she worked as a care giver, working at the nursing home and as a physical therapist assistant, later became a correctional officer. She became a certified nursing assistant working at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station, Texas.

Inmate Arrests Report – Pecos County Jail (Nov. 10-17)

Victor Korir, of Bakersfield, CA at 2:33 p.m. officers from the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Korir, who had a failure to appear warrant form criminal mischief more than $2,500 and less than $30,000. Korir received a $6,000 bond and was released the same day.

Dominguez, Mata earn first-team all-district honors

Body

For the second year in a row, senior Alyana Dominguez was selected to the District 2-4A first team volleyball squad and the multi-sport standout was joined by Eliana Mata, who was also named to the district’s first team.

Dominguez led the Prowlers in kills and Mata led Fort Stockton is assists this past season.

The duo played a large role in Fort Stockton’s turnaround under first-year head coach Gabrielle Harral.
