Fort Stockton Community Theatre received an early Christmas present again this year. The theatre group won top of its category in the City Bank Community Rewards Program for the second year in a row and will receive $4,000.

Convention Center receives exterior makeover

The exterior of the city’s Convention Center is now amplified with a new gray paint color as numerous renovations continue on the inside. Ability grouping to begin in 2022 at Fort Stockton ISD

Math and reading classes within the Fort Stockton Independent School District will soon be grouped according to students’ test scores. Ability grouping was approved by the Fort Stockton ISD School Board at Monday’s meeting, setting in motion a multiphase plan that is scheduled to start in January of 2022.
