Pecos County State Bank announces promotions

The Directors of Pecos County State Bank recently announced four promotions in Fort Stockton.

Bill McAnally has been promoted to executive vice president. He began at the bank in 2013 where he also serves as an advisory director to the Board and as the primary agricultural loan officer.  Bill and his wife Daila have lived in Fort Stockton since 1995.

During February we celebrate heart healthy foods. Heart healthy foods deliver a powerful dose of phytonutrients that prevent and repair cell damage, the essence of preventing heart disease. “Fruits and vegetables in a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes are good for one’s heart,” said Julia Zumpano, a dietitian with the Preventive Cardiology Center at the Cleveland Clinic.

E.N.E Electrical Services owner Oscar Franco has lived in Fort Stockton his entire life - 52 years to be exact. It’s a community he cares about deeply and when frigid temperatures caused the power to go out for nearly the entire town, he didn’t hesitate to help those that were dire need.

City weathers winter storm

Like most parts of Texas, Fort Stockton had to take on the numerous challenges unleashed by the recent arctic temperatures. However, the City of Fort Stockton prepared a week in advance and was not blindsided by the frigid conditions.
