When Toni Espinosa bought Dickey’s Barbecue Pit last year, she had her eyes on expanding offerings at the restaurant. That came true on March 15 when Dickey’s began offering Wing Boss chicken wings exclusively online.

“It’s an online virtual store,” Espinosa said. “You can order by going by www.wingboss.com.

“It’s something new that we just incorporated to Dickey’s,” Espinosa added, “It’s still Dickey’s barbecue, but it’s a digital platform that we are able to provide to customers. So, it will help us with revenue.”

Up to seven flavors of smoked barbecue wings, boneless wings and tenders are available, as well as Cajun fries and a variety of sauces.

Espinosa explained when she bought the Fort Stockton location last year, she was asked if she wanted to open a Wing Boss in addition to Dickey’s.

But before she moved forward with the process, she wanted to make sure the restaurant would be successful.

“It’s been more than six months, I think we got Dickey’s going,” Espinosa said. “We’re excited, we’re happy, we’re ready for Wing Boss.”

When you go to wingboss.com, order and choose delivery. Espinosa has partnered with Door Dash to deliver your food straight to your location.

”Wingboss.com has been live since March 15, but I was just waiting to get the feel of it, to make sure my staff was properly trained because it’s online so we want to make sure those orders go out right,” Espinosa said, adding that it’s been a success. “Our Dickey’s, out of 450 stores, we made top 87 for the week on sales. My staff is friendly and we try to give good quality food.”
