Water Carnival Barbie Party and Mock Interview

Saturday, July 8, a Barbie Party & the annual Miss Fort Stockton & Junior Miss Mock Interview was hosted at the generous Pecos County State Bank’s lovely 5th Street House by Kelli Burns & Angela Harral.
The beautiful contestants engaged in a fun Barbie ice-breaker game. Bethany Kincaid was recognized as the “early bird” & first to arrive. Priscilla Trevino won the most fashionable award due to her gorgeous shoes. Ashlyn Foster & Ysabella Sanchez were recognized for being involved in Water Carnival since age 3. All contestants received a Barbie, Barbie cookie, made by Maggie Hinostrosa, a make-up bag, Barbie sunglasses & a pink lemonade bottle from Dollar Tree.
A delicious salad, watermelon & chicken dinner was served, followed by Barbie cakes, cupcakes & sherbet for dessert.
Then the ladies began their mock interviews covering broad topics of community, school, volunteering, future plans & personal goals. All the ladies are well spoken, accomplished, &, intelligent with great communication skills.
Laughter, comraderie & Water Carnival memories were on display.
Serving as Mock Interview judges were Mark & Jessica Harral & Miranda Acosta. All took their duty seriously and gave great interview advice to the ladies.
