Toastmasters in Fort Stockton met on May 20 at the Fort Stockton Public Library for one of their bi-monthly meetings. The group’s president, Karan Heffelfinger presented the awards at the meeting. Houston Mckenzie, bottom photo, was recognized as the Best Speaker. The Best Table Topics Speaker was visitor Lance Smith, top photo. Alicia Salinas (not pictured) was awarded the Best Evaluator. Toastmasters meet twice a month on the second and fourth Fridays at noon for one hour, at the public library. Lunch is provided. The group invites the community to attend.
