The Pecos County Historical Commission hosted a two-day event at Horsehead Crossing. The event was first held in 2020 to commemorate the various historical figures who passed over this well-known crossing throughout the 16th-19th centuries. The celebration featured a chuckwagon breakfast, storytelling and live fire demonstrations by historical re-enactors.
