Angela Lujan was selected at the Alamo Elementary Teacher of the Quarter on March 27 at the district’s board meeting. Lujan teaches third grade math. Lujan was introduced and presented the award by Alamo Assistant Principal Cathy Havins.

Yvonne Simons was named the Apache Elementary Teacher of the Quarter on March 27. Simons teaches first grade following a lengthy tenure as a kindergarten teacher. Apache Elementary Principal Karina Pacheco presented Simons the award and introduced her to the audience, board, and superintendent.

Melissa Alvarado was selected as the Fort Stockton Middle School Teacher of the Quarter at the district’s board meeting March 27. Alvarado teaches seventh grade math and is the head of the campus’ math department. Alvarado was introduced and presented the award by middle school principal Sammy Soliz.
